Do you fix iPhones and iPads as well as Macs?
No, we don't fix iPhones or iPads, just Macs including laptops (MacBook Pro, MacBook Air) and desktops (iMac, Mac Mini, Mac Studio, Mac Pro).
Do you sell macs?
We do! We can order new Macs direct from Apple, usually on a next-day service (depending on availability). We can also offer leasing / finance options that you may not have considered.
Do you sell USED macs?
Yes we do, however we only sell used equipment that we have supplied and serviced from new.
How long will it take to fix my mac?
We can often fix your Mac the same day (depending on availability of parts and the number of machines we currently have in for repair). We always aim to have your Mac back to you as quickly as possible, as we understand how crucial it is to your day-to-day life.
Why should I buy a mac from you?
We sell new Macs at the same price as Apple and can offer next day delivery. However, as your local supplier it can be more convenient for you to deal with us. We can assist with migrating data from your old Mac to your new machine (induding connection to iCloud across all your Apple devices), we can help to arrange any warranty repairs, and we can also offer out-of-warranty repairs once your Apple warranty has expired. In addition, we offer a call-out service to your home or office.
Do you carry spare parts in stock?
Yes, we carry many spare parts in stock and can usually obtain next-day delivery for those that are not in stock.
Do you have free on-site parking?
Yes, we have free parking at the front of our office in Alfold.
What are your opening hours?
We are open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. However, we often stay late until 6.30/7pm. If you are planning to visit us, it is always best to give us a call on 01403 753666 to check that we will be available at the time you wish to arrive, as we are sometimes called out to see a client on-site.
Do you offer service contracts?
Absolutely! We have many satisfied long-term customers, particularly those with multiple Macs at their place of work, who prefer to ensure ongoing servicing for their equipment with a montly maintenance contract. Should I back up my Mac before I bring it in for repair/servicing?
Ideally yes. We cannot be responsible for your data, so a back-up is always advisable before you ask us to perform any work on your Mac. If you have not backed-up your Mac before bringing it to us, we can perform this back-up for you upon request (for an additional charge for the work and an external storage device to store your data onto). If you decide not to back up your Mac, we will ask you to sign a form stating that you have chosen to accept this risk.
Do I need to bring my charger/cables/keyboard when I bring my Mac in for Servicing or repair?
No, you do not need to bring your charger or any peripherals when bringing your Mac in for servicing or repair, as we have everything we need here.
Are you open at the weekend?
Officially no, however in emergencies we are usually contactable, and can often arrange for out of hours collection / drop off if required.
How long have you been in business?
Blue Apple Systems Ltd was started in 2004, and we have been at our offices in Alfold ever since. Our Director Richard has been working with Macs for over 30 years.
What areas do you cover for call outs?
We cover all areas of the South-East of England, including London, Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire and Kent.
